Compliances
ROHS
Turbon toner cartridges comply with all the applicable RoHs regulations and associated CE marking requirements. Products compliant with this directive do not exceed the allowable amounts of the following restricted materials: lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls (PBB) and polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE), with some limited exemptions.
REACH
REACH is the European Community Regulation on chemicals and their safe use (EC 1907/2007). It deals with the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals. The purpose of REACH is to improve the protection of human health and the environment through a better identification of the inherent properties of chemical ubstances at an early stage. REACH is also intended to promote innovation and competitiveness of the EU chemicals industry.
WEEE
Turbon toner cartridges comply with the EU Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment regulations and are marked accordingly. The WEEE directive regulates how products are managed at the end of their lifecycle and encourages recycling and reuse.
